HZL & DX Series: Oil or No Oil?
A common question we receive quite often! The HZL and DX series machines do not need to be oiled as they come
lubricated from factory hence why it is not mentioned in the manual. Go figure! But there are times when you may feel the machine needs to be oiled.
Here is how:
- Turn off the machine.
- Remove the presser foot, throat plate, and bobbin.
- Clean the area thoroughly.
- Lubricated magnetic ring with 1-2 drops of sewing machine il.
- Take a cloth and wipe away excess oil.
- Test the machine.

It’s time for a show!
Be inspired by test driving a JUKI at our 2018 sewing and quilt shows. We hope to see you there!

At the first of every month Juki emails a Newsletter. Get up to date info on machines, accessories and more.
Each month you will also find a new project. This month is a quick and easy window valance. I change my kitchen window valance out about 4-6 times a year. Sometimes it is the simple things that makes a difference. For some reason my family always feels I have created something special when I change out the window. Don’t tell them how easy it is.
